Congratulations to all the muinteoirí Gaeilge who are high in the iTunes Education Podcasts Charts with the various sliocht for the Leaving certificate Béaltriail na Gaeilge which starts immediately on return from the Easter Holidays on Monday 16th April.
All Junior and Leaving Certificate students should now be fully focused on their Examinations with a rigorous study timetable in place for the Easter break. An indicative list of Practical Examination dates for Third and Sixth-year students is available here. Final times and dates are arranged by the subject teacher with the student and the examiner from the State Examinations Commission.
Sr. Gerardine and Mr. Higgins helped us reflect on the meaning of Easter during Thought for the Day and Artwork on display in the school last week. The website banner above is one of the three paintings used to interpret Holy Week and Easter.

Thanks to Ms. Norris and all the English Teachers who carried out a very successful Spelling-bee competition to promote spelling amongst First-year students. The finals were held in the Assembly Hall recently.
Students in Portmarnock are acknowledged as power users of MangaHigh, an online Maths Game. A link has been placed on the website under Useful Sites.
Thanks to all the students and teachers involved in the musical Back to the 80′s. It was a wonderful performance.
