Sports Awards Night

The school’s Sports Awards will be held tonight Monday 14th May in the Assembly Hall at 7.30PM. Ollie Campbell the former International Rugby player is our guest {In 1982 Ollie Campbell kicked all of Ireland’s 21 points against Scotland’s 9 to secure the Triple Crown for the first time since 1949}.
The Awards are a very special annual event where our sporting achievements are celebrated. I would like to take this time to sincerely thank my teaching colleagues who gave of their free time to promote our wide programme of sporting activities. I would like also to acknowledge our school management who wholeheartedly support sport in the school. We hope to see Michael Gibbs and Kevin O’ Brien, former PCS students, and members of the recent victorious U21 Dublin Gaelic Football team, tonight also. All our sports trophies from the year will be on display along with the Sam Maguire Cup, The McCarthy Cup and the Heineken Cup.
