Congratulations to our Basketball players who recently won an the All-Ireland Schools Cup at the National Basketball Arena. Sports-file have twenty-six photos of the U19C game against Mount Anville that may be viewed here. There are some great photos of the supporters too!

Congratulations to Emma Kelly, 1G,  who took part recently in the Leinster Senior Schools Championships representing Portmarnock Community School.

Emma won Gold in the 100 Free Style , Silver in 100 Backstroke, and was chosen to swim the 400 Freestyle where they select the top five seeded swimmers overall to swim in one heat only. She took the Bronze in that event! Emma was the only swimmer from PCS in this event this year and will now take part in the National Championships later in 2013.

There are photos on the right from Fifth-year students in UCD. Some Third-years were at the zoo for C.S.P.E., while thirty Transition-years are finishing up their computing course in DCU.

A Holocaust Memorial ceremony was held in PCS recently. Mary Ward Week, when we pay particular attention to the Loreto influence on our school ethos, was also celebrated.

Samples of the 6th. Class / First Year assessment tests are linked here, Gaeilge, English and Maths (Matamaitic as Gaeilge anseo). This years equivalent tests take place on Saturday 23th February 2013.
