Ms Bunnett reports:

We set off early on the 23^rd of January for the North Leinster Championships in ALSAA. Thankfully the rain held off and we had the perfect conditions for cross country racing, fine bright and mild. The first race, the minor girls saw Lara McEvoy finish in 12^th position – an excellent start to the day. The day continued well with the Portmarnock minor boys putting in a strong performance and Aaron Cullen finishing in a fantastic 5^th position. Craig Giles had a stunning race in the Junior Boys finishing 2^nd. A great return from injury. The intermediate boys and senior girls performed well although some injuries returned to challenge performances. Eoin Keating finished the day off wonderfully with his 6^th position in the Senior boys event. Congratulations and well done to Aaron Cullen, Harry MacKeogh, Connor Archer, Mark Morris, Craig Giles, Steven James, Johannes Borris, Eoin Keating, Lara McEvoy, Alannah Byrne, Cara McDowell, Aishling Moore, Fia Donnelly and Charlie Fagan.
