Cross Country Success

Last Wednesday 3 students competed in the Leinster Cross-Country Championships in Santry Demense. Callum Marshall 1C ran a very strong and fast race and placed 42nd. Lara Mc Evoy 5K had her most competitive race and narrowly missed out on qualifying due to a miscommunication at the start of the race, but she has her sights set on qualifying next year. Aaron Cullen 5F who is just returning from a foot injury ran an impressive race and has qualified for the All-Irelands which will take place on Saturday 9th March in Clane. The Athletic Club and school wish Aaron the best of luck and Ms. Malone and Ms. Mc Donald will be there to cheer him on.
