Do our childhood experiences influence who we are today? How much of an influence do other people have on how we behave? How do we learn and why do we forget? This informational course will be of interest to those wishing to learn more about these questions, and also as a taster for those considering studying for a formal qualification in psychology.

About the Tutor:
I am a psychology PhD student in child and youth research. I have a 2.1 BA in Psychology and an Msc in Applied Psychology. I teach undergraduate statistics labs and seminars in Trinity College Dublin, Child Development tutorials in St Patrick’s Drumcondra and I teach Psychology on the DCU summer scholars programme for gifted children. I am currently teaching a course in Early Childhood Psychology in Portmarnock CS and have previously taught an adult education QQI level 6 Child Psychology course in Scoil Mhuire in Clane, Co. Kildare.
