This creative writing course with Anne McDonald to explore how you can use creative writing to mind your physical and mental health.
This course is interactive and suitable for beginners or advanced writers. The focus of each session is to gently use exercises to promote wellness, have fun, explore different techniques to help you get started, and develop habits that you can use in everyday life. Writing will take place during the first half of each session and the second half will be used for discussion and inspiration and how we can use what we have written to help deal with challenges we face on a regular basis.
Each week you will be set tasks to find inspiration from your immediate surroundings and writing can be shared with the group or not, depending on what you are comfortable with.

About the Tutor: Anne McDonald
Anne McDonald (B.A., M.Phil) is a professional life coach, creative writing teacher and award winning spoken word performer. She was featured as life coach on the BBC production of The Last Resort, with Woman’s Way magazine and has facilitated The Artist’s Way for many years. She has been a winner in the Strokestown International Poetry competition was shortlisted in the RTE Frances MacManus short story competition and she regularly performs on open mic nights in Ireland, US and UK . Her poetry collection Crows’ Books was published in March 2021.
