Aonghus McAnally on stage.
Portmarnock Community School were delighted to welcome Aonghus McAnally to talk to the Transition Year group. Aonghus reminisced on his years in the school from 1993-1999 where he had played the role of Gar in ‘PHILADELPHIA HERE I COME!’. Aonghus currently works as an actor and director/producer and has established his own theatre company. Aonghus stressed the importance of getting involved in all sorts of new experiences, as he said, ‘of stacking the deck in your favour’. A very sound piece of advice that Aonghus gave was that ‘The harder you work, the luckier you get’. We wish Aonghus well with his forthcoming tour. He will be performing In The GAA club in Portmarnock on May 30th.
