Portmarnock Community School Principal

Principal’s Welcome

I am delighted to be able to offer a warm welcome to Portmarnock Community School.  I feel very privileged to be part of the school at this exciting time in its history.  The all-round, holistic education on offer here has always been special, and I am looking forward to developing this further over the coming years.  Portmarnock Community School will always strive for academic attainment and personal wellbeing, for creating a supportive and inclusive community and a fulfilling education that endures for a lifetime.

Our aim is to send our pupils out into the world with close friends and the ability to make new ones, with the knowledge and skills to succeed at college and beyond, and with a broad range of interests to enrich their lives. We also aim to cultivate each student’s academic and personal potential to enrich the world with courage and creativity and we expect our students to make a lifelong commitment to using their gifts and talents for the benefit of others.

I hope that you will find our website to be helpful and engaging and that it will also give you a sense of what a busy, purposeful and ambitious school we have here in Portmarnock Community School.
