Transition Year Programme

Teamworks – Thurs Sept 26th – in school team building activities. Students will attend one of three two hour sessions across the day. Students are permitted to wear their PE tracksuit.

Hamilton The Musical trip Tues Oct 1st – selected students will travel to the Bord Gais Theatre independently via Dart to Grand Canal Dock – students need to meet outside the Theatre no later than 12.30 pm. Students should time Darts or public transport to ensure they are here at this time – as latecomers will not be admitted. Students are to be in full uniform – all details will be on the Google classroom. Students will be marked accordingly on the roll.

Reptile Haven school visit- Thursday October 3rd. In groups students will attend this workshop. Normal school day when not in attendance.

Podcasting workshop 1 – Friday Oct 4th. Selected students will attend this in-house workshop. Selected students will be notified via the Google classroom. There will be another workshop for the remaining selected students at a later date (TBC)

Deadline for work experience placement- Monday 14th October. This is the final date to have acquired their work experience placement. All relevant forms to be returned to tutors. Beyond this date students begin to lose marks from their overall Work Experience mark.
