Mandatory Course Requirements:
- Work Placement: Learners must independently secure and complete 30 hours of paid or voluntary work experience in an approved healthcare or older person residential setting during the 16-week term to satisfy the QQI assessment criteria.
Course Schedule & Details:
- Start Date: Thursday 24th September 2026
- Class Times: 6:30pm – 9:00pm (Every Thursday evening)
- Duration: 16 weeks (40 hours total tuition)
- Term Breaks: No classes during the October mid-term break or any other scheduled school holidays.
- Course Fee: €375 (Includes all QQI registration fees).

- Assessment: Continuous assessment via learner records, a project, and a practical skills demonstration (No final written exam).
