Join Anne McDonald for a  ten week creative writing series using music, popular culture, food, world events and personal life experiences to create poems & stories using your own unique, precious memories.

Bio; Anne McDonald is an award-winning poet, playwright and artist who has worked for many years with groups and individuals to help people prioritise their own self-care using creativity. Her poetry collection “Crow’s Books” was published in 2019. She has had short stories and poems published widely in print and online journals, and her work has been reviewed and broadcast on RTE Radio. She was the professional life coach on BBC’s “The Last Resort” and has performed her work in theatres in Ireland and the London Irish Center.  

She believes that whereas we encourage children to play from the moment they are born, we lose the ability to play as adults and, in doing so, lose the one thing that will help us deal with the stress of modern day living, our imagination.
