GUITAR – PLAY BETTER NOW

Portmarnock Community School Adult Education Programme:

The aim of the course is to give you the skill set to: – play chords and scales – to learn and play different riffs – to learn exercises to support playing ability – maintain your guitar – understand how effects can support your playing. The course is delivered in a fun and inclusive way and you will leave with the ability to play songs in several genres.

Summer Term – Starts Tuesday 16th April  2024  6 weeks

(Limited to 6 persons per class)    Cost – €66   

Time – Beginners  6.30 – 7.30 pm 

             Improvers 7.30 – 8.30 pm                                                                                                                 

About the Tutor: Andrew Mahon    LVCM (TD), AVCM  FVCM (Hons)

Andrew has been an avid guitar player for over twenty years playing for enjoyment and also professionally. Andrew attained his teaching Diploma for guitar from the Victoria College of Music, London and teaches in a number of schools in the North East region.
