The Trad Group

Who? Students from all year groups (and teachers too!) are invited to come join in, to learn, exchange and play traditional Irish music in a relaxed environment.

When? Every Thursday lunchtime at 1PM.

Where? We practise in B3.

The current members play a wide range of instruments, including flute, fiddle, guitar, concertina, tin whistle and mandolin.

All instruments are welcome!

Trad Group gives students and teachers the opportunity to enhance their playing and extend their repertoire of tunes. It raises confidence levels of aspiring young musicians by giving them the chance to perform in public, and gives its members the opportunity to meet other students with similar interests.
