Portmarnock Community School Adult Education Programme:
These classes will involve challenging
(non aerobic) matwork Pilates class is for people of all age. It promises to improve core strength & flexibility without bulking up. Pilates will also strengthen & lengthen the muscles improving bad posture. It is suitable for those who don’t exercise much & for those who have sore backs but no major injuries. Props can be used for an added challenging workout. Note early start date this term.

MONDAY PILATES CLASSES
This gentle Pilates course will suit both men and women aged 55+ who wish to exercise without too much exertion. Class will focus on balance, mobility and core strengthening. (Exercises will be done both on and off the mat so a comfortable mat would be recommended).
Starts: Start date to be confirmed €80 6.30 – 7.30pm in the main School Building
Men’s only Pilates: This mat based course is suitable for men who wish to improve/increase or maintain their core strength and flexibility. (Mat required)
Starts: Start date to be confirmed 10 weeks €80 7 – 8pm in the main Sports Hall
Mum and baby Pilates:
This post natal course is designed for mums who wish to tone and strengthen their bodies with their babies close by. A great way to exercise and meet other mums and babies. (Mat required)
